CovaWound™ SuperAbsorbent

Indication of Use

CovaWound™ SuperAbsorbent is indicated for the management of moderately to heavily exuding wounds such as leg ulcers (venous and arterial), foot ulcers, pressure injuries, traumatic and surgical wounds and first- and second-degree burns. Can be used in conjunction with compression therapy for venous leg ulcers.

Advantages

  • CovaWound™ SuperAbsorbent is indicated for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds.
  • CovaWound™ SuperAbsorbent dressing consists of a soft hydrophilic wound contact layer, a Polyurethane (PU) foam with SuperAbsorbent Polymer (SAP, polyacrylate) which provides
excellent fluid absorption, and a non-woven fibre top layer.
  • The non-adherent hydrophilic wound contact layer enables transmission of fluid through to the SAP core, which locks in fluid, decreasing the risk of maceration of the wound and surrounding tissue
