Proximal Humerus Plates

Indication of Use

This implant is indicated for the treatment of proximal humerus fractures, including those with associated rotator cuff injuries. It is particularly beneficial in cases where the greater tuberosity is displaced, offering improved manipulation and fixation capabilities.

Advantages

  • Variable angle-stable and angle-stable options allow for precise screw placement in three sizes: Ø 3.5 mm cortical, Ø 4.0 mm cortical, and Ø 4.0 mm cancellous bone.
  • The plate includes combination holes in the shaft for standard or angle-stable cortical screws and specific holes in the head for angle-stable fixation.
  • It features a uniform design that fits both left and right humeral heads, with diverging screw positions to enhance stability.
  • Anatomical fit is tailored for the humeral head with elongated holes for intraoperative alignment and Kirschner wire fixation options.
  • The aiming block supports precise placement of angle-stable screws in the head area, ensuring optimal fixation.
